EMIY The True Story.

In 1992, I was working in a daycare with friends on my off days at the Barber shop. One day I was sitting in a chair relaxing all by myself and these words came to me. Encourage Me I’m Young. I was so excited about it that a friend of mines sister being very young at this time I asked her to draw me a box and put everything in it that kids must have in schools. She later that week brought me a picture with what I had asked and I took it to Art’s knitting meal and they made the first shirt, with the words on the front top of the picture and bottom of the picture. I was also Coaching Varsity basketball at the time with my uncle Don, we took it and began to put it on the kids and we let them pick quotes for the back. That went on until we got out of Coaching and Changed Directions. Fast forward to 2004 I was sitting in church at Rose of Sharon COGIC and Pastor Ronald L. Griffin who had not seen me in a month had told me at the end of service that I must do good by the kids, He said ’You better go see about the kids and do right” that was the first sign. I was already Trade marking EMIY and then my little brother said “you can’t be part of the problem you got to be part of the solution” the next sign.

So one day I was Praying while going with a friend to a House closing and I did not know how I was going to start the company and this quote fail out of during prayer was the first one “Time is all we have to change what we are” Thus began Encourage Me I’m Young. Today we have been on the NFL network, MTV, and Runs House, also we have over 110 original quotes as well as we have the Good Fathers Only line making moves soon. This is just the beginning of what we can do and we look forward to changing the world one t-shirt at a Time.

EMIY-
1.Mom,dad,you can make all the money in the world but you just can’t make up time!

9.Mom,Dad, what good is a punishment? If never participate in my life.
10.Don’t teach hate, Teach me love, peace, understanding and how to avoid conflictand that it’s Ok to disagree.
11.Even if you think I can’t Just don’t say I can’t!
12.In all of our failures, we totally forget about all our success.
13.I’ll be strong, I’ll achieve and I’ll actively pursuit my dream’s
14.So you want to be a Hero? Well say nice things and when I’m in Trouble, be there,” HERO”.
15.Not enough people Sharing, Too many people Taking, and very little Understanding.
